Wanted - How to find Lathe Spindle-nose Specifications

I have a 21st Edition of Machinery's Handbook (and one from WW-II). Several times I have tried to find the definitions/specifications for the various lathe spindle noses in both, without success. The Index has been no help. Can anyone tell me whether or not they are in there? And if so, where? And how did you find them?

Nothing in my handbook regarding lathe spindle types . 22nd edition . Mills yes , lathes no .

Well, based upon the index, that is also true of the 12th and 21st editions. But I couldn't believe it. That's why I worded my post as I did.
