What are you all using on your mills ? i have used the standard rubber but they all fail in short order. get cut, even split from coolant.

I use leather hide bought from Ebay.

Works great and never seems to be affected by collants or hot chips.

I've gone to HomeDepot or Lowes and bought the ~1/16" grey vinyl membrane used for shower enclosures. Sold by the running yard, about 42" wide, reasonably cheap. Pretty well impervious to cutting fluids.

I use leather on my Bridgeport. Has lasted over a year so far and shows no sign of needing replacement yet
