Found it in an old shed with old tools. Crimping tool? Metal bender? Pipe vise? Small Boat anchor? Ideas?
I think it may clean up. I forgot to pipe a measuring item in pic. That's a red framing nailer in pic. Might be able to get idea of size. It's heavy but I"m old.

That is a fixture for a tool& cutter grinder, perhaps LeBlond.

I have found that the older that I get, the heavier things get, a 100 Lb lathe chuck used to be manageable by hand, only manageable by hoist now ---
