Yeah, I bought it from Mike, he lives right around the corner from me. I was looking for a project and he gave me a good deal on it. It was definitly a fun restoration.

Really looks good Eric. You may want to find a real shaper vise before you start any projects. Kurts are fine vises, but they aren't great in shaper applications.

Which I will, the vise on it is a beater vise. I restored that as well. Lol

I cleaned up these tool holders I made a while ago, she puts out a nice finish!

Almost looks like a ground finish.

I also managed to snag a new handle from a vernon milling machine someone was parting out. The new one is installed and polished, the old one was pretty much the only pitted part on the machine. The rest of the surfaces seemed to be kept well oiled over time. There is some wear on the machine but nothing shocking considering its age and how rough it initially appeared.

I also recently added a light to it and painted up the feed direction arrow.

Added a fancy little tool tray I discovered on ebay. Was off a hjorth lathe but fits here pretty nicely in this spot.
