ATF letter

Just wondering, has anyone seen one in 22 mag? Would that possibly cause to many issues in a rapid fire 'firearm'?

I haven’t heard of one in 22 mag , but can’t see that much difference.
The mag is about 3/8 longer, so the bolts, Cam and Carrier would be longer.
Larger bolt diameters and of course the chambers.

This is a comparison picture of my latest bolt.
The small bolt is RG-G size, I made the new ones
to accept stock Ruger 10-22 Firing pins and Extractors
I think the larger could be modified for a mag.
It's still a .22 & It only a hobby

Thanks for that info. Can't claim much knowledge of firearms, just own a 22 cal varmint rifle (which doesn't get much use in Spring Hill even tho we're over run by coyotes on the usta-be golf course) and 12 ga shotgun for birds, (when I get the opportunity to hunt). Find less time and fewer locations to hunt them as I get older.

Like this project BTW. Thought about trying a firearm build but realize I don't have that particular skill set. Would end up with a zip-gun if I tried.:guilty:

Test firing with 22 blanks in my garage.
Can’t hear a thing outside

Ready for test firing, after the Holidays I'll
take it to the ranch.
This is all legal, RG-G design with some modifications just for looks

Hi Jerry,

Very nice! Five barrel design? Got me very jealous with that 4-axis (5?) CNC mill you're running!

Bruce

Thanks Bruce,
This one is a six barrel.
The mill is 4 axis, very inexpensive for what
can be accomplished in it.
A Syil X4 plus bought new for 7,300 in 2010
