Bob , they can't all be perfect, I'll end up with a good one sooner or later.
Tozguy, it dose have some Knicks in the base I think it was returned before,
Enco return policy : Returned item must be in resellable condition :eek:

Seems the threads don't go all the way down or a piece is missing in there , Enco has a different one headed this way, should be here tomorrow .

You can get also get the fine-adjust on the base which is what I prefer.
 
I have been wondering about the FAB models. When would a FAB be preferable to a FAT and vice versa?
 
I figured having the fine adjust by the dial would be best for me.
 
I received mine, FAB, ordered during the 30% discount sale. It's perfect. It's pretty obvious how the fine adjustment works on mine. Turning the fine adjustment simply cams the arm slightly; it's probably more obvious at the bottom of the arm than it would be at the top, due to the greater radius affected.

Steeve, am curious to know what size FAB you bought and what indicator(s) you are/will be using it for.

I got the 8 1/4 inch arm holder: 326-1359 Enco number. I also bought two indicators to use with it, Enco parts 605-4073 DI, and 606-4740 DTI.
