Upper belt housing tear down. Remove this cotter key on the speed change plate.

Start by removing this cotter key and washer on the speed change plate. At this point the cotter key and hardened washer were all that held the speed change assembly in place. You can remove the speed change assembly and set it aside now. As well, its a good time to clean up the upper housing now.
