Recommendation for drill bit set?

Okay, these are the four I'm currently looking at. Any thoughts on molybdenum vs cobalt vs HSS?

Viking by Norseman
Molybdenum
$287.01 prime ship

Drillco
High speed steel
$338.61 prime ship
out of stock at Amazon

Drill Hog
Molybdenum
$197.00

Drill Hog
Cobalt
$297.00

My vote would be either Drill Hog set.

Have you considered screw machine drills? Shorter, more rigid, more accurate than jobber drills and really useful when room in Z is tight.

Sounds reasonable. Any ideas on a specific set to look at?

I am looking at this set. It is the short or Stubby machine screw type. As stated being short, they are less likely to wonder and therefore more accurate. They also tend to break less than the longer Jobber type.

There was a similar thread on here a few months ago with many recommendations on drill bit sets.

With all due respect to NC Jeeper, I have a set of Drill Hog bits and I have been far less than impressed with them. It seems that the quality varies widely between sets. I question where he (Drill Hog) sources his product from, because he certainly does not manufacture them.

Ok, I found that other thread. ---> Drill Bit Thread <---
