.060” Pin Punch (Sorry for the confusion)

Since you all know I buy all kinds of "I'm sure I'm going to need this someday" tools:

Got these from MicroMark years ago (can't find them on MM any more). 0.40 – 2.00mm, including a 1.50mm for @Ulma Doctor; I don't know how tough they are, but the RC65 TSUBOSAN file slides over the shank. The holder has a split end that holds the punch shank by friction, and the wooden mallet is provided so you don't try to tap them too hard.
 
Another approach that I use for pin punches is to select appropriate mild steel material for the shaft of the punch and drill a socket for the pin. old drills make good punches. I fix them in the socket with a small drop of CA glue. Drill blanks work well for longer pins.
