On work zoom calls, I often have 9 faces on my screen, In a 3x3 pattern. I'll jokingly tell the person in the middle that they're in Paul Lynd's spot. 90% of them are too young to have any idea what I'm talking about.
A young man was giving an older man a hard time because he couldn't understand some of the new features of his new smart phone, and basically implied the reason was because the old man wasn't all that bright.
The old man calmly replied, "Don't give me any of your guff about how smart you generation is. With my first car, the owners manual contained instructions on how to adjust the valves. In yours it contains instructions not to drink the battery fluid."
