B&S Micromaster 618- partial tear down with questions

I think that bevel business would invite grit to enter the way surfaces, and grinders generate lots of it, even with liberal coolant.
Hmm, you have a point John.
I am surprised at the lack of grit beyond the guards. Well designed for sure.
I am painstakingly cleaning the sheeting and removing the rubber seals and soft camper tape that seals the Flood coolant panels.
I found some shower pan rubber at Home Depot that should work great.
 
I put it back together today.
Some may be interested in the coolant panels and assembly?
I’ll move her back in place tomorrow. Boy am I beat. Too much standing, my back is barking, my hands are raw.
I cut myself at every turn. My skin is like rice paper.
