Barnes sliding gap bed lathe 14-24 about 1917

Hi guys in the video when the feed is engaged it looks like the carriage wheel is all jerky that’s because I waxed the bed the night before to protect from elements and the wax wasn’t all wiped off, now it’s off the feed is all smooth again , just an update and don’t shoot me but I did turn some wood and watching the diameter reduce was nice to watch Craig

I have a 12 and 24 sliding gap bed Barnes. Could you possibly post pictures of the tool post and compound. I don't believe mine is correct and would like to see what I need to build.
