C&H MFG . Co . What is it ?

If the center mark was 0 or 90 I could see being used as a listing indicator.
By the time you're listing 90 degrees, you probably don't need an indicator. LOL :D

I wonder if a part is missing? Like an indicator needle that might pivot in the hole at the top of the triangle.

When I looked up the name of the company it doesn't give a lot of information. There's a patent listing in 1914 that appears to be gasoline related but couldn't get further than that.
It appears the company wasn't a huge one. and I don't think it was related to sugar.

Anyone figure this one out ? Lots of responses but until someone has proof , there will be no chicken dinner awarded ! Seriously , I believe we all are stumped on this one . :dunno: Maybe the buyer will leave info in his feedback if left .

I bought it, I put in a lowball offer and it was accepted! I'll post some better pictures when it arrives.
What the heck is it Ed ? :big grin:

Whatever it is, it’s not complete.
The mechanism for activating the lights is missing.
I think it might be some type of inclinometer, like for a crane.

Not likely for a crane. cranes booms start a 0 and up to 90. never seen a crane boom go negative 22.5, no one needs to know 22.5 on crane boom
