Dead Blow Hammer

You have to make your own lead hammers now a days. Around the shop I swat things with a 32 oz Stanley brand dead blow. But a lead hammer would work much better. I've used both.

Between the service truck and the shop, there are about 100 dead blow hammers, both in soft face and hard face. Most branded Stanley, Snap-On, Mac and a few others. We use to get 3-4 a week from one of our suppliers, as part of a machine upgrade/rebuild kits. So multiple hammers were available. I realized this morning out of all of the hammers I own (about 150), only 2 of them have wood handles, both of them are Garland rawhide face hammers, one big, one small.
