Derringer?

Tom, the insert is rifled, a piece from a .308 Remington 700 take-off barrel. The 38 is a drop from Numrich. I'm working on a 22lr which is off set for the firing pin and will post a picture of it when it's done.
 
I see. Thanks for the info 0369. Looks like there are many possibilities for different calibers and types. I still want to work along the lines of the Remington with the sequential second barrel. Once again it is more about the journey than the destination, lol. I have some beautiful burl walnut for the grips, too pretty to throw away.

I guess your best bet would be a post at Weapons Guild. It's all gun building and very active.
