I don't mean to wake this one up if it's been asked and answered but Benchmark Abrasives sells something they call the "Grinder Hood" which is basically a face shield designed to accomodate cans and a half mask. I have one and love it. I love my full face mask for some applications as well but it's a pain to take off and on when I just need to squint and inspect a weld real quick.

Face Shield Big Enough for Respirator?

That looks great. What kind of respirator is under it?
I have a couple but they're both basic 3M half masks. The one I like best is a 7502. I keep full on cartridges on one and the little round particulate filters on the other.
