Help identifying this grinder

Just a recommendation, get that grinder the hell away from that mill. Grinding dust and machine tools don't mix.

Thanks frugalguido, I do plan to move the grinder when I get some 220v elsewhere in the shop.

Last week I got a nice email from the Smithsonian Library with news they have found the original documentation for this grinder, scanned it and sent it to me.

There is a really good section on the theory of drill grinding. I'm checking with the Smithsonian on any restrictions on publishing this and if there are none I will share it.

I'm still learning to use the grinder. The first bit I ground was a 1/2" and it worked great. That was before I got this documentation and my success rate is falling now that I'm making adjustments. But I'll keep at it until I get it right.
