How do I hold this thin stock?

Do you have any plans or more details on a vacuum chuck? I need to get this project out the door and will not have time to make a chuck. However, I've been casually looking for little fine pole magnetic to mount on my PW R8 TCG. This might be a really good option!

From your post you may not have time to make one. The rough "minds eye" idea is a magnetic chuck that has, instead of magnets, a series of holes thru the surface that connect to a common chamber that has a port for connection to a vacuum source. Check out fleaxbay item number 272391406999 for a visual.
For those who doubt please look up Magdeburg hemispheres from 1654 and go from there.
