How to meg a 110/220 single phase AC motor

I've had experience of impossible to solder stranded wires. The problem is a thin layer of corrosion, developed over many years, and hard to remove.
The liquid tape option is fine, though time consuming

Once I get all the liquid tape build up done and cured, I am wrapping each wire with Scotch 33 but in different colors. I may need some help working out the Start/run capacitor switching once I get to it. Trying to eat this Burger one bite at a time. The more I am on this site the more I like it. I especially like how active it is. Some forums are so stale you would think you are typing just to be sent into cyberspace to never be seen. LOL Thanks for the reply.
