Ideas for machinable vise jaw patterns?

I looked at some magnetic vise jaws and some of the patterns have the 45° grooved horizontal and 3 vertical 45° cuts I think from what input from here i can get a multifunctional jaw set

Somewhere I saw drawings of a vise jaw that had a series of holes. you could stick dowels in the appropriate pair of holes to hold the work at an angle. Unfortunately I can not remember the source.

I put a ledge on my jaws 1/8” deep and 1/8” in. Makes it much easier to set up 90% of the machining I do

I wouldn’t even need to remove the jaws from the vise to put a ledge on!

I just lined up the vise and cut the jaws. Real easy to do
