Everybody talks smack about OSHA, but I wonder how many people are willing to work with cast iron in flip flops.

So that's the choice?

Wow, it "appears" multiple parts of the castings are completely missing or thin.

Those castings are all over the place. I think the foundry must be named “Random Precision”.

Most castings are off a bit and that is factored into the design. But if you look at the counter bored relief adjacent to the spindle bearing boss you can some seem to be off 1/2” or more.
