[How-To] Lathe only beginner engine?

Despite not having a lathe at the moment, is there an engine that is a lathe only build and suitable for someone who's never built one before?

A lot of the videos are working with a smallish lathe.
Maybe you could find more information by watching his stuff

A small wobbler can be built with only a lathe (plus either a drill press or some very careful hand drilling).

"Milling operations in the lathe"
It should give you some ideas to get round not having a mill.
