My dog Cali was 16 and a half years old. she was put down today. her heart couldn't keep up with her and she has bad arthritis. she could barely support her own weight and fell down. we had her outside today for hours and she loved it. the vet said she lived 2 weeks longer than she should have.F0CEF6DC-5513-4474-93B7-62C3E620B752.jpeg3F2AD4F8-6597-4609-8A74-0423BDE3BC9E.jpeg5ED47849-EC8D-4926-BD9E-BC79A34C4888.jpegF359EA66-6517-40F9-B033-62DDD6F4D254.jpeg

Peyton,

I know that feeling.
There is no easy way to say goodbye to a furry friend.....and it is always difficult to know when the right time is.

My sympathies in your time of loss.

It looks like she had a great last day.

I'm sorry to hear you lost your friend. Been there, done that too many times.

It is the nature of things, and is best for all concerned, but that does not make it a whole lot easier.

I am sorry for your loss.

The single hardest job of a good owner, is to know when to do the right thing, but Damn it hurts. I wish I had thought to take those pictures for mine.
Condolences

So sorry to hear that Peyton. She was a beautiful girl. When I had to put down my last dog we did the same thing, spending a lot of time outside in the yard
