I intended to turn this cart into a welding table but lately I've needed a work table more than anything. A good friend gave this cart a while back.
I made the frame a slip fit.
I used two layers of sanded 1/2" plywood.
It still fits under my bench!
The wheels don't lock so it's not ideal but I'm going to make a couple front/back chocks so it won't roll too easily.
I do not want to cut off the old wheels and try to weld on locking casters. It's good enough the way it is.
I pounded on the top with a 2 lb dead blow and it's solid. It's going to be so nice....
