Firstly apologies, I hate having to ask a question as a first / second post but i've done a search, can't find a resolution and this is just plain annoying me! I have a MPG like the 1st picture that I want to connect to a secondary DB25 / parallel port in my dedicated CNC PC running Win XP. This port is on an expansion card and is working ok as far as I can tell but my question relates to the attached wiring schedule that came with the MPG. The 5v and 0v will come from a USB plug and cable, the encoder, axis select, and range select all correspond to DB25 pins but the Orange / Black and L. Blue / Black don't seem to connect to anything ? ? ?
I would assume they would either be connected to power or ground as common then switched as output to relevant pins?
Can anyone offer any assistance or if they have a similar MPG, whip the back off and see where the above noted wires run to / terminated where?
