Buying the tool post is not much of a problem. Look up multifix or 40 position tool holders to see how much they cost & how readily available they are.
Not much has changed since I looked into them, in fact it looks like there are even less suppliers now. The tool holders cost as much or even more than genuine Aloris or Dorian tool holders & they are made in China.
Perhaps someone might know of a cheaper & reliable vendor.
