I couldn't find the "introduce yourself" place, so I'm doing that here. Hello! My name is Pete, I live near Denver CO, I'm 46, I have my own shop and I fix construction equipment. I have a Bridgeport knee mill and an Atlas lathe. I'm a fair machinist, meaning I know enough to REALLY screw things up. I used to hang out at that "other" machinist forum, you know for the practical folks, and they were a great bunch of guys for several years, but as soon as I got an Atlas lathe, they got all butt hurt about it, so whatever. I left, and here I am. I don't post a whole lot, mainly because I don't have the time, really. But when I do, I'll hang out here and gab along with ya. Thanks for letting me join up!
