I have seen your questionnaire regarding MKII lathes and kind of filled it out, but I think a lot of the things you are asking about are "next level" knowledge to me, so I answered, "I don't know" to a lot of your questions.

15)I was surprised this machine had plastic gibs, which I replaced with metal ones. I have operated and maintained industrial quality woodwork machinery over a 40 year carreer as a cabinetmaker, so I wish to improve and tune this small machine to make and modify small parts for projects
