Next Project Boring Head

I have a milling attachment for the lathe that I have never used. I am thinking about putting the head in the milling attachment facing the tailstock with a tool bit in my ER32 tailstock chuck. Use the tailstock ram to scribe a line. Move the head by .025 and scribe a line and so on until I get the head scribed the full length. The the vernier scale on the body might require me to use a DI to scribe the vernier scale. I'll have to see how it goes with the vernier scale.
