Nylon/plastic what type

From what I can tell, Thomas wants to restore his rollers and not make new ones. The first post mentioned making new bushings to replaced the wallowed out holes in the original.

While Delrin can be an excellent choice, he should check to see what sort of wear is in the original. Perhaps the axles are rusted / corroded and can cause excessive wear to the new bushings.

Even a harder material like a sintered bronze bushing would work well.

For projects like this leaf spring bushings for trailers are a cost effective source of what appears to be HDPE.

POM (Delrin) is an excellent material to machine, it may not however be the best material for the application, polyethylene in one of its myriad forms will be less expensive but far more annoying to machine yet will likely outlast POM over time.
It is my understanding that the generic name for Delrin is acetyl.
