Old Machine Shop Photos You Might Like

I used my 40's last week while cutting to length some parts 26.625" long. Will use them again this week on other parts.
 
That's a strange mix, overhead line shafts and flourescent lighting?
That is a cool motor. Probably weights 200 pounds and produces 2HP.
 
Almost has a teacher-student look to it.

Your prolly right about the motor, But thats a real 2HP unlike todays 2HP which is prolly a 1/2HP.

Heres some I up loaded to SnapFish and had made into 11 X 14 posters and hung on my shop walls. They said that there weren't good enough for that but they came out fine.

Motor makes sense. That's got to be the coolest industrial electric motor I've seen and now I really, really want one. Yep, it's a sickness. :biggrin:

I haven't found a cure yet. 'Course I haven't really looked. :biggrin: Just look at the "basket weave" shell on that thing- beautiful!
