Opinions needed on many used lathes from Facebook Marketplace.

Hard pass on that Monarch...

Sorry, but by the time you spend the time and money to retrofit that lathe with conventional controls... if it can even be done, you could have bought a pretty nice new lathe.

The real problem is that the lathe doesn't have wheels or and engine to move itself. :)

@Unix That Monarch Tracer lathe would be a hard pass. G-man Bart spelled it out.
