I acquired several hundred .223 brass the other day. They all had crimped primers.
I needed a primer pocket reamer so after a quick internet search for dimensions I headed for the shop.
Found a piece of scrap 3/8" drill rod in the scrap pile. It was pretty straight forward cutting the flutes.
I hand sharpened it. Since it's for cutting brass I did not bother to harden and temper it.
I can do about 100 primer pockets in about 20 minutes.
