[Lathe] Q about Craftsman 101/Atlas 618 milling cutter holder (draw bar)

Ok check here. Looks like the 2120 maybe plain brg version and the 21408 is Timken brg. Neither are Dunlop.
It seems to me that that drawbar should fit your lathe. Compare the Dunlop to the Craftsman/Atlas, links at top of page.

I wish mine had the broze bushings, thay are much better than roller bearings.

I first use a SB with babbit brgs and it was a learning experience on how to shim the caps to get the right running.
Roller or ball brgs spindles have to be setup and test run and readjusted for temp changes but I am fine with them.

They tend to be worth a fair bit. I sold one for Atlas 10" and got 250 for it. No questions asked. Clausing lists the 10" for over 500!

Huh??? I'm just selling the drawbar and tapered collet holder, not the lathe. I sure hope it's worth big money. thx jim

hi jim,the mark II had mt2 and mt1 .I have one of them to.

The draw bar should be a 3/8 16 thread.I dont know about your holder, might be home made..Bill L.
