Redneck science

My CXA Aloris has thrust bearings. Kind of like that :)
Yep, that’s redneck engineering alright.

The toolpost moved under pressure even if i tight it down with that big socket arm.
After adding bearings. It seems to get tight with the bolt/handle i added.
Looks like that bolt would do a great job of shredding one's knuckles.
You obviously ain’t a redneck. It’s pronounced si-unts, not sky-unts. If you don’t need the C, don’t waste time looking for it on the keyboard. ;)

Guilty as charged, but I think one could be a redneck and still value correct spelling, why flaunt ignorance as a value.

Added a bearing to my QCTP. So little torque required to tighten. Magic.
Also nickel plated it, it hasnt shown signs of rust yet.

I remember my old history teacher well. He used to say "ain't you got no culture" speaking in the vernacular
intentionally to make a point. Spelling is very important to be able to discern if someone has a proper upbringing or not.
Not being able to spell is an indication that one may be lacking in other ways as well. It's about details, silly details.

For example: It's Machinery's Handbook, not "Machinerys Handbook".;)
