I have to admit, when you first posted this, I thought those guys in CA are nuts, making a fence out of stainless steel? Well, you and your brother knocked it out of the park, that looks beautiful!
It looks great. I admire your tenacity in finishing this (no pun intended).
I built my own fence from mild steel square tubing and forged tips. Having this go fairly well, I was very close to choosing to DIY railings for two balconies from stainless. Having read this thread I now see what a disaster that would be... choosing a commercial supplier to fabricate them was a really good decision
When I saw that moonscape I thought the only way would be face milling with stainless inserts.
Does anyone know how do they achieve good finish on such parts commercially?
