My Grandfather had a Garter snake that would visit him in his workshop.

When they catch prey their speed is faster than greased lightning.
I must admit I enjoy flicking stunned flies into their path, one second they are just standing there next micro second they have the prey and you didnt see the movement its so fast.

My shop is FULL of brown recluse spiders. They love cardboard boxes. I could find 100 at any given moment. My wife has moved all her fabric and craft items to sealed plastic totes for the same reason. And they sometimes get in these.
