Spidey

Yea Brown Recluses are fairly common here in central Texas but true to their name, they are reclusive and unless I go looking, I rarely see one. And despite them being fairly common, I don't know anyone that has been bitten. More likely to get bitten by a snake walking to the car or neighbors house.

is he a brown recluse? Looks big , BR's are smaller. (about 1 inch )
edit: and much less hairy. (one of their traits)

Sorry guys I didnt identify him/her, its a Huntsman not a recluse, pretty common up here

Yesterday morning was sitting in my recliner with a cuppa, clicked on Spidey…….instantly the iPad screen was filled with a Most Formidable Spider, giving me the evil eye.
Actually the evil eyes, I guess.
nearly jumped outa the chair, while spilling coffee on myself.
You really got me savarin, Well Done !!
 
My wife has been bitten by a brown recluse. Years ago. Pretty bad. But they do run when uncovered.
