Super Rare John Deere Shaper !

If I used up all the paint down the basement , all my machines would be either JD , IH or Cub Cadet .
In my case it would be hideous lime green, very expensive high quality 2-part epoxy paint. And a hideous "brown" (ish) that i made unintentionally made.
If you mixed them all together, it would probably come out gray - I sometimes think that's why most machines were painted that color ;~)
Grey?
Since the age of 3 I've been proving the theory that any more than 3 colors, regardless of what the colors are and in what proportions, when mixed will yield "brown" (ish) and the more specific a color you're aiming for, the faster the combination veers off and goes brown. So far no combination has broken the theory.

We had 4 colors of ink down the Balto. Sunpapers . Black , red , blue and yellow . We printed all colors when mixed to whatever . When I came home at the end of the day , it was always a greenish mess .

I thought that would get your attention ;~)
Now, I bought a lathe once, that was obviously made by International Harvester (You could tell that by the heavily applied color, anyway),
but this is the first JD machine for me !

Seriously, I obviously have some work cut out for myself, here - But I had to buy it, just to save it from itself :~)
It will be a while, as I'm spread a bit thin at present, but I will come back and post, if I can produce a reasonable-looking result from this mess.

That’s the sexiest thing I’ve seen in a long time.

I guess if we’re going by color schemes mine is the super rare St.Nick model made in the North Pole.

No John Deeres here. Three Fords though.
So I had extra Ford Blue and light gray in the paint cabinet.
Use what ya got right?
PS, the pedistal for the grinder is the axle housing from a tractor.
