Taper attachment question

I replaced the compound screw and nut on my 13 single. I was so impressed with my new machine I ordered the cross screw and nut. Mr. Miller and I have become friends lol.
Your taper attachment intrigues me. I have only seen them online for the price of a used car. I'll be watching to see if you dial her in.
Don't give up, I would love to have one.

Thanks for your reply. I bought the lathe with 3 and 4 jaw chuck's. Collet draw bar a steady rest and the taper attachment. It had sat for 20 years. Cleaned it for about a month, installed a new motor and belt. I gave $850 for it. I feel like it was a great deal.

Taper attachment issue resolved. I disassembled the taper attachment. On the cross slide screw there are two things spring steel spacers. One of the spacers was wrapped up in the cross slide screw. Thanks for all the replies.
