Turning & Milling classes in Oakland, CA

I would be interested in blacksmithing and foundry, but I don’t see myself pursuing either one of those at home.

I think that if I took those classes, I would eventually forget most of what I learned. Use it or lose it.

Blacksmithing and foundry work, would not be practical at my home either.

They do seem like things that having a basic understanding of would be helpful though. It also appears that after taking the classes you can rent access their facilities at prices that I'm guessing are far less than hiring out the work.

I'll save the Fire Hula Hoop classes for my wife, as I could easily hurt myself with a standard non-burning hula hoop.
