West Texas thunder storm

Out west and on the plains you can see these guys coming up. That's an amazing photo!

Here in the east, it's murky, hot and humid and bam a thunderstorm. Today's thunderstorm here dropped the temperature from 95F to 70F in 20 minutes. Violent winds and wild rain for a while. The temperature drop was a welcome relief from the heat wave here.

I thought it was an HDR photo... it really looks like one...

But the article says it was taken with an iphone... as far as I know, cellphone cameras aren't capable of HDR photography.
