What do you think of this Birmingham machine

I'm pretty sure you could drive away with that for $2500. Not a whole bunch of tooling but looks to be a complete enough set up to get you started. As always with these things, you snooze you lose, so don't hang around!
 
I have that exact machine, same bases and color. I bought it 3 years ago, VERY lightly used, manufactured 1998 in China. Came with a DRO and 5C collet chuck with drawbar.
Both gearboxes leak a little. High speeds create a bit of gear noise.
I bought a BXA QCTP, adding toolholders all the time.
I can part like you should be able to. WAY, way, WAY better than the 12x36 Craftsman I had before.

I use it alot, and it is STILL more accurate than me!

Around here, it won't last long at $2500.
