Picked this up to make a straight edge out of. But after cleaning her up I'd rather help her find her way back home. No idea what she came off of.

Suggestions.

looks almost like it is off and old table saw or something like that.

How long is it? Slap a ruler next to it if you snap any more pictures of it.
Reminds me of a guide off of a wood plane, but I think that it's a lot longer than that.
Fence for table saw or some sort of drill press maybe. Jointer, shaper perhaps.

How long of a straightedge are you trying to shoot for?

Seems to me that my Dad's jointer had a fence that looked like that.

I thought she might be a jointer fence.
Was told by a wood worker that it might be an attachment for specialty jointer cutters.

well, Daryl, you could scrape it anyway... i'm tempted to scrape in anything cast iron.
if there is a new owner, he'd appreciate the precision surface!
