What's your secret ?

IIRC, I got this can at the real gov’t surplus facility in Richmond in the early 70’s. The original label finally fell off so I printed a new one. I’ve only used it a couple of times, but it does a good job. It is very much like the original Brasso which you can’t get here (I bought a small can a few years ago on Amazon, and it came from the UK), so @GrifterGuru has the right idea.

Maybe a MicroMesh starter kit?

That was not the question and is besides the point if it is possible, with a little time, to clean the original crystal.
No, it was the question. You asked how to clean them. My answer stands. There is no intrinsic value to the originals.

The question was "Any way to polish these up or is it a waste of time"

Therefore, it was a question about polishing the lenses (Crystals), not replacing them.

Sure, possible to replace them, but polishing them will save time hunting down new crystals, time removing the old ones and fitting replacements as well as money.
