Press the brake bearing cap into place on the stationary vari-disc pulley. Press only on the INNER race of the bearing this time!
Time to install the key into the spindle pulley hub. (note this is spindle pulley hub that was broken in my original post.) This one is brand new.
Install the bearing spacer ring. It just slides into place. At this point you want to check and make sure the brake bearing cap spins without binding.
Bearing spacer ring that goes on the brake bearing cap after the cap has been installed.
Press the brake bearing cap into place on the stationary vari-disc pulley. Press only on the INNER race of the bearing this time!
Make sure the bearing is completely flush in the brake bearing cap.
Time to install the new bearing. Press it into place on this side. Press on the outer race when install it into the brake bearing cap.
Bearing numbers from the new bearing. Again...you really should replace this bearing while you are in here!

You will press the brake bearing cap completely on. Until there is enough room to place the Bearing spacer ring on top flush with the pulley collar. (The part you just pressed the brake bearing cap onto.)
