Durn, @GoceKU, that's what we've been getting here in Arizona! Sounds like a massive heat wave for you.

After the big wash down it was time to get her moved into her new temporary space. Got her off the trailer with the hoe, and a lot of in and out of the machine, rig and re-rig. Tried moving it with a spud bar once I had it on the skates. She just laughed at me. Resorted to pushing it in with the hoe. Had one dicey moment, but the machinery gods were with me, and the forces of truth, justice, and the American way prevailed, and she is now waiting comfortably for me to get her into operating condition. Tried WD 40, and some Scotchbrite on a few areas, and it looks like it will clean up nicely. Gonna try to put a day a week or so on it while I finish up the building chores. Mike

You are one brave man! And you didn't even move the T-Bird! I've done some cringeworthy moves into/out of the shop with a backhoe and skid loader, but this is amazing! You win.
How long did it take?

made another FIMS tool holder, this time a 5/8" one
Still working on bows here.... both Traditional and compounds. Finished a new trad build that started a year ago. Was a huge learning experience. Saw a good amount of time in the machine shop. Got it paper tuned this a.m. and will hit a tournament this weekend with it. Going to a tune up shoot tomorrow.
That was based on a Hoyt Buffalo recurve... and am not really a Hoyt guy?
But that did clear the table so to speak to get back on my PSE's. Crummy pics below but are what they are. The W/T radial DP and looking sorta behind it is another mid '40's W/T.... bandsaw. Are both in their element working on our bows. We have other BS's so this one stays set up just for bows,more or less. It's the wood and metal version with the gearbox. I used to use it as a vertical metal cutting saw but like it better working on bow parts(wood). The radial drill is just too durn handy.
Got a brand new set of Bacote limbs going on one of these risers. The one riser came from evilbay minus the grip so that's being finished up. These grips are a creature all to themselves. This is the second,and am almost at that point of mastery. Woefully different from a wood bow riser.... I can sculpt one of those durn near blindfolded.
Am using a 2" facemill in the BP to "let in" the 1/2 of the riser thickness,before epoxying the 2 halves together. Gotta get EXACTLY the right dimensions on the glued up,slot. +- a .001". Very difficult to explain,but has to do with a cpl spuds that are used during finishing. After this Bacote PSE,we've got a cpl sets of Bear Kodiak takedown limbs to make. They're going to be just downright fun to do.

that is one cool old DP. I have a WT DP900 (15") floor model and love the way it looks.
