Still working on the shop (Will it never end?). Have mostly been touching up 7000sf of of mud and tape, but took 2 days off that gruesome task to build a 8x14 loft area so I can clear the rest of the shop for painting, and as a permanent parts storage area. A few pics of that, and the general cluster of stuff occupying pretty much every inch of space. I swear by the Gods of Asgard ( So as not to offend, Insert the God/Gods of your choice) some day order will prevail. Cheers Mike

The space is awesome, FOMOGO. The Chrysler is beautiful, and the fact that you loaded the hobby machinist site on the computer on one of those shots made me giggle.

Thanks Joe. The car is actually a 1960 Thunderbird. Mike

Lol! I went back through the pics, thinking I had missed one... I didn't see a Chrysler!

I've always liked the pre-70's Thunderbirds. I've had 2 '67s and a '70.

Yours is a lot nicer than any of mine were...

... alternatively, you could swear "by Grabthar's hammer."

My son finally got around to winterizing the racecar's engine, when removing the rocker arms he noticed they were hitting the spring retainers, this happens when the installed height changes, indicating a possible valve issue. Pull the heads or pull the engine? Everything else seemed OK, but after finding .012" endplay on the crankshaft we decided it was time for a freshen up.
