Blast Cabinet Nozzle

I have that same gun and make my own nozzles all the time out of 1/2 grade 8 bolts. They last a pretty long time and I make them in various lengths. They are cheap and quick to make and there is nothing more frustrating than a consumable wearing out in the middle of a project and the have to wait for new ones to be shipped.
 
UHMW slides as if it was self lubricating and in a sliding or bushing application it gives excellent service. As noted, it can be cut, drilled and machined like metal if you uses SHARP tooling. We tried it as an alternative to a pulley with 1/4" steel cable and it did not hold up. I think sharp edged media blowing through the hole would cut rather than slide.
