got a call today from the ATF

Sometimes I think about getting licensed to manufacture/modify guns for others to generate more jing for more tools for my home shop. I have heard from guys in the past that ATF won't give you a license if your shop is in your home?? Mine is in my garage. And I know it doesn't meet industrial security standards. Do you mean in a room in your house or in an attached garage to your house ??
 
I say yes because I have a friend who has an 02/07 and his attached garage is his shop location. With that said you would have to get the ok from your city/county before you went to ATF. There are many things that come into play that will have to be taken into consideration that could have a positive or negative outcome....
